We hit 10,000 registered participants. We're not doing a big campaign. We're doing a thank-you. The early cohort has been patient, vocal, and essential. Here's to the next order of magnitude.
Ten thousand sounds like a number. For us it's a signal. It means we have enough people in the world that matchmaking and placement start to matter—not just "put players in a room" but "put the right players in the right room." Skill, latency, language, behavior. The industry is waking up to the idea that matchmaking isn't a queue; it's a policy engine. We're not there yet, but 10k is the scale where we have to start thinking about it. Reputation, trust signals, and the kind of social design that makes a world worth staying in.
Why the early cohort matters
You've been patient. You've reported bugs, given feedback, and put up with rough edges. You've also shown us what kind of community can form when a world is persistent—when relationships and identity accumulate instead of resetting every round. That's the foundation we're building on. As we grow, we're committed to keeping that foundation: clear norms, transparent systems, and a place where the next 90,000 (and beyond) can show up and feel like they're in the same world you helped shape.
