Acquisition FAQ — what it means for the world
We've compiled answers to the most common questions about the acquisition. The short version: the world continues, nothing about your experience changes right now, and we're building for the long term.
- Will my character be deleted or reset?
- No. Your character, progress, inventory, housing, relationships, and everything else you've built stays exactly as it is. There is no reset, no migration, no wipe. This is a persistent world. It persists.
- Will the game shut down?
- No. Our parent organization is committed to running Founderia for decades. One of the reasons we made this move was to ensure that persistent worlds don't disappear when the original team moves on. This gives Founderia institutional staying power.
- Will prices change? Will you add a battle pass or cosmetics I have to buy?
- Access pricing remains the same. We have no plans to introduce battle passes or aggressive monetization. We're not changing how you access the world or what you have to pay. Your current access level stays current.
- Will you sell my data or add tracking?
- No. Our privacy policy and terms of service don't change. We don't sell player data to third parties. We don't add new tracking or analytics. Your data usage within Founderia is governed by the same policies as before.
- What about immersive access and new features?
- We're accelerating work on immersive (VR) access, mobile experience, and deeper player governance systems. We have more engineers, more resources, and more long-term runway to build these things properly. The content roadmap remains the same—we're just moving faster.
- Will the team stay the same?
- Yes. The founding team is staying on. Our parent organization has committed to supporting Founderia's independence and leadership. We're hiring aggressively to expand the team, but the vision and values don't change.
- When will things change?
- We have no immediate changes planned. We'll communicate any significant changes well in advance. For the next 6 months, assume Founderia operates exactly as it does now. Then we'll share what's next.
