Devlog #60: What's next

2026-01-17 · From the vault

We're at a turning point. We can't say much yet. We can say: the world continues. The platform evolves. We're building for the long term. More soon.

Something is changing. Not the world—the world continues. Not the community—you're still here. What's changing is how we're resourced, how we're structured, and how we're thinking about the next decade. We've talked about coherence: state that stays consistent across interfaces. We've talked about residency: capacity for sustained presence. We've talked about participation that might not be only human—about worlds that can hold both people and agents, and about the identity and governance that will make that safe. We can't spell it all out yet. Deals, timelines, and announcements have their own schedule.

What we can say

The world continues. The platform evolves. We're building for the long term—for trust, for scale, and for a place that can become more than we originally imagined. The strongest multiplayer worlds will look less like products and more like institutions. We're building one of them. More soon.
