Five years of Founderia
Five years ago we started building. The world exists. The community exists. We're not the same company we were. We're not done. Thank you to everyone who showed up.
Five years ago we said we were building a world, not just a game. We said it would persist, scale, and become a place for more than entertainment. The world exists. The community exists. We've gone from matches to a world—and we're starting to see what it means for a world to become an institution: a place where people learn, socialize, trade, and show up because the place is worth showing up to. That transition isn't driven by hype. It's driven by the boring stuff: reliability, identity, safety, and governance that can sustain trust.
The bottleneck isn't realism. It's trust.
We've learned that the hardest problem isn't making the world look better. It's making it trustworthy enough to hold real relationships and real value—without constant fear of fraud, abuse, or arbitrary power. Identity that resists manipulation. Safety that protects without surveilling. Rules that are legible and contestable. We're not there yet. We're building toward it. Five years in, we're not the same company. We're not done. Thank you to everyone who showed up. Here's to the next five.
